WARRANTIES

Photonix Energy offers a 5yr Workmanship warranty on all of our installations.

Manufacturer warranties apply on all installed products, and we only choose products with the following as minimum sourced product warranties.

SOLAR INVERTERS

5yr minimum warranty.

We prefer to use SofarSolar Inverters where possible with a 10yr warranty.

SOLAR MODULES

10yr product warranty

25yr Linear Performance warranty – (80% of nameplate power after 25yrs)

SOLAR MOUNTING

10yr warranty applies to all solar mounting equipment used by Photonix Energy

ELECTRICAL SWITCHGEAR

12mth minimum Manufacturer warranty applies on all electrical breakers, switchgear

DC ISOLATORS

We prefer to use ZJBENY DC isolators that come with a 5yr warranty.

Zhejiang Benyi Electrical Co.,Ltd warrants that if under proper use the solar isolator BYH-32 and/or BYT-32 and/or BYSS-50 develop any defect during the period 5 years from date of delivery due to defective parts or materials supplied Zhejiang Benyi Electrical Co.,Ltd shall at its own expense replace or repair such goods as are defective so as to remedy the defects except where such defects are attributable to accident, fair wear and tear, or any action, omission or neglect of the buyer or of its agents.

 

REFUND POLICY

REFUND POLICY

Please choose carefully when purchasing, as we may not be able to provide a refund or replacement if you merely “change your mind.” after you have paid a booking deposit.   

Faulty on Arrival

If you receive a faulty item, we will at our discretion either repair or replace the item at our own cost

Please note: if the item was working on arrival and you are claiming warranty, a different policy applies – see Warranty Information

Incorrect Item

In the event you receive an incorrect item, we will replace the item at our own cost

Product unavailable from wholesaler

If you have paid a deposit for a system and the desired or quoted item is unavailable from our wholesalers at the time of installation, we will offer you a replacement item of equal or greater value and/or performance (such as wattage or efficiency of solar modules).  If you do not wish to replace the item with an alternative, we will endeavour to source the desired product from another wholesaler and schedule an installation within 30 days of wholesaler notification of unavailability, or we will refund your deposit in full within 30 days.

Please note: We do not refund installed systems, installed Inverters, delivery costs, insurance charges or lost returned items.
